Hello! It’s winter! Annnnnd oh how I love a good snow day! Don’t you? Really….can you think of anything better than playing in the snow & then coming inside for some yummy hot chocolate? I didn’t think so! ;) TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk is THE perfect drink to enjoy while enjoying your favorite winter time activities. Today I am so excited to share our favorite TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk recipe ~ Snowman Soup along with some other yummy hot chocolate recipes from TruMoo & a few of our favorite snow day projects, crafts & fun traditions. Snowman Soup

2 cups TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk

4 chocolate kisses

2 candy canes or peppermint sticks

1 crushed candy cane or peppermint stick

whip cream

In small saucepan over medium heat, heat TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk until warm. Pour into mugs, stir in chocolate kisses & crushed peppermint until melted. Garnish with whip cream & more crushed peppermint. Stir with your candy cane (or peppermint stick). Enjoy!

Serves 2.

Snowman Soup has the perfect mix of chocolate goodness with a hint of peppermint. Yum! All of my kiddos have their very own snowman mug to enjoy their Snowman Soup in! ha! ;)

Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

2 cups TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Dash ground cloves

In small saucepan over medium heat, heat TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk, cinnamon, ginger and cloves just until boiling. Remove from heat. Garnish with cinnamon stick and favorite gingerbread cookies if desired.

To heat in microwave oven, combine above ingredients in glass measuring cup. Heat on High 1 minute or until warmed through. Garnish as above.

Serves 2.

Rocky Road Hot Chocolate

TruMoo Rocky Road Hot Chocolate

2 cups TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk

1/4 cup coarsely broken graham crackers

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Garnish: chocolate chips, graham cracker pieces, mini marshmallows, toasted almonds

In small saucepan over medium heat, heat TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk, graham crackers and vanilla until milk is hot. Pour into mugs. Garnish with chocolate chips, graham crackers, toasted almonds and mini marshmallows* if desired.

*If desired, broil mini marshmallows until lightly browned before garnishing.

To heat in microwave oven, combine milk, graham crackers and vanilla in large glass measuring cup. Heat on High 1 minute or until warmed through. Garnish as above.

Serves 2.

So as you can see TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk served hot will make the perfect addition to your snow day! It’s so yummy when mixed with your favorite winter spices, add-ins & treats. Get creative!

Does hot chocolate remind you of your childhood? I know it’s a huge part of my kiddo’s childhood. We are famous (ok….maybe not THAT famous! ha!) for throwing yummy hot chocolate bar parties at our house. TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk would be so perfect for this!
