A few weeks ago I saw this pillow at Target. I came super close to buying it, but then I said to myself I could totally make that. So I did! Annnd it didn't cost me anything because I already had all of the supplies on hand. Yay! :)

To make this pillow you will need:
- a pillow cover (I found a zipper pillow cover at Hobby Lobby.)
- flocked heat transfer vinyl (white)
- your Silhoeutte Cameo
- iron & ironing board
First, you will open your Silhouette software. I measured my pillow then made a square the exact same size as the front of my pillow. Next, I used the KG Happy font to write out Fa La La La La La. Can you say that 3 times real fast? ha! ;)
After you have your letters sized how you want them you can just delete the square. Before you cut heat transfer vinyl that has lettering on it you will need to mirror your words so they will cut backwards. So make sure you do that before cutting.
My little helper (also known as my 6 year old wild child!) pulled on my vinyl while it was cutting. So I ended up having to cut some of my words twice. So that's why mine is in pieces. Hopefully yours gets cut all on one nice piece. That will help the lining up process a lot! I just had to eyeball mine to make sure my letters were straight! :)
Next you will iron on your letters. This takes a little patience. You'll need heat, pressure & time. Try to hold your iron for about 30 seconds in one spot before moving on to the next. Let cool. Then gently try to remove the plastic backing. If it doesn't come off easily repeat the steps again. You can also iron the back of the pillow.
Eventually it will peel right off.....leaving perfect lettering behind!
I love this piece of happy holiday decor in our home!
I'll be sharing how to make that cute DIY ornament tree next week!
I've already shared how I made the cute Christmas signs with my Silhouette.
