Ginger Snap Crafts: watermelon lemonade straw toppers {Lifestyle Crafts}

watermelon lemonade straw toppers {Lifestyle Crafts}

watermelon lemonade

A few weeks ago I pinned
a recipe for watermelon lemonade.
Doesn’t that sound yummy?
It also sounded perfect for summer!

Then when I saw the new Pool Party Collection from Lifestyle Crafts
{which includes a watermelon & citrus die!} I knew it was time to try out the recipe!

{Check out some of the other Pool Party dies.}

Aren’t they adorable?
Perfect for summertime scrapbooking, cards & parties.

Anyways, I used my watermelon die & citrus
dies to make some cute straw toppers
for our watermelon lemonade.

I used my Revolution to cut these out.
{You can check out my tutorial here.}

Didn’t they turn out cute?

I wish our strawberry lemonade had turned out as well.
I tried a few short cuts & substituted a few ingredients,
& it got mixed reviews from the family.
Next time I make it I’ll follow the recipe.
There’s a reason I’m not a food blogger! ha!

By the way, these sizzling Core Collection favorites go along perfectly with the new Pool Party Collection limited edition dies, so Lifestyle Crafts is selling them at 35% off this week!

{flamingo die, palm tree frame die, swirls die, treat bag die, lei die, lattice die,
chocolate mini unicase alphabet die, polka dot embossing folder,
bubbly printing plate,  and the loop-de-loo die}

I’d get them while prices are this low.
Hurry I bet they’ll sell out quick, too!

  1. Well, the 1st photo makes it look like it's the bomb! There must be a way to tweak the recipe because as you wrote: the idea of lemon/watermelon sounds fantastic!

    The cut-out design on the lids and the colorful and thick straws are my favorite part, but that's because I would never take the trouble to do the crafty part.

    I have a lot of admiration for your energy and the style that you achieve.

  2. Such cute stuff! And so summer-y!

  3. Thanks for hosting! Have a great day! :)

  4. This is soo cute. Great for summer.

  5. Where do the adorable lids come from?

  6. I bought them off etsy. :)

  7. Starting my own blog, so I came over here to spy! This is impressive! I am sad to say I haven't stopped by before. So sad for me! Seems like your name paid off- too bad mine is kind of lame, lol!! I am going to be doing some building, painting and decorating and figured it would take a while to build a blog, but why not blog while I'm doing what I love!? Looks like I need some tips from you! Your kids are getting so big, especially Zach. Our newest little girl, Lexi turns 1 this Sunday, Emma will be 5 in two weeks, Lauren 9, Aaron 11, and Mary started highschool this year, yikes!

  8. Those are completely adorable! Love them:)
