We did a little shopping, of course!
We were on the look out for some Charlie Perfume!

Do YOU remember having
Charlie Perfume back in the day?  I sure do!

I’ve blogged about my Grandmother before.
You can check out that post here.
She was an amazing lady!
After having 5 boys of her own,
she was beyond thrilled
to have so many granddaughters.
I was lucky enough to be
her oldest granddaughter…the first.
So she spoiled me rotten!
Annnnd I loved every minute of it! Winking smile

Here are some photos from our Girl’s Night Out shopping trip!
You can see our whole shopping trip over on Google +.

When I was a teenager & started wearing makeup
she would always give me
Revlon makeup for Christmas!
One of the things she always bought me was
Charlie Perfume!
Oh….the memories!
Thought it would be fun to get some
Charlie perfume for my own daughters.
My girls aren’t old enough for make-up yet
but we do let them wear a little perfume sometimes.

Our shopping trip was a blast!  We had so much fun checking out all the girly stuff at Walmart!
Rachel from
Bubbly Nature Creations told me about the Dollar Section at Walmart
& how they had these cute bins & matching candy dishes for just a buck!
So we had to check that out for sure! Smile

I picked up a couple of bins & a matching candy dish.
Look the “candy” dish works perfect as a ring holder!
Annnnd it matches our new bottle of
Charlie Perfume!  Sweet! Smile

  1. I think this is a sweet post:) I can't handle the floral perfumes... luckily for me, my mom wore Cody Musk when I was little. One day she got a new bottle and there was a 1/4 inch left in the old one... because I was the oldest, I got it and treated it like gold.
I still love the smell of it, but haven't actually smelled it since 2000 when I was in 9th grade.
I may have to go track it down:)

  2. What a fun day out with your girls!!! I've always loved Ralph by Ralph Lauren perfume... AND because we considered it to be expensive, it was a REAL treat whenever I got a small bottle of my own! :)

  3. My Nanna always wore Anais, Anais. Whenever I smell it, I think of her. I can picture the white bottle with the floral label on it!

  4. Sounds like a very fun night! I remember liking a floral scented perfume but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. There sure weren't as many choices back when I was a kid!

  5. looks like such a fun shopping trip! Found you through the blog hop! New follower! :)

  6. So cute! I can't remember this perfume, but the one I wore when I was like 10 or 11 was Exclamation. I stayed with my aunt for a month in the summer to watch my cousins, and she complained every time I put it on. I guess it was kinda strong, haha!

  7. I love this! What a fun night! You have the sweetest girls! My favorite scent growing up was Calvin Klein one.

  8. I wore Charlie for YEARS! Thanks for the trip down memory lane :) And what a fun evening with your girls! Thanks for sharing with us!

  9. Oh, yes, I remember Charlie, they had different scents back then too. I was also into Exclamation, and there was this perfume Revlon used to make, it came in a black bottle with blue letters, they discontinued it when I was still young, so I can't even remember the name, but the scent was heavenly! I also treat my little princess to some perfume, but not always, they can be quite strong.

  10. My brother in law gave me a bottle of Evening in Paris when I was ten and I thought "I am a woman now." lol

A lot of my friends wore either Charlie or Baby Soft; after my Evening in Paris I wore something called ICI - and wore it through most of highschool. I can't even remember what it smelled like now, but I remember a lot of guys really liked it. ;)

  11. Hmmm... I just googled it and saw it launched in 1995 - I'd already been to my 10 year reunion by then so it obviously wasn't ICI. Now I have no idea what I wore - could have sworn it as that!

  12. Your girls are so sweet!!! How fun that you made a party of it! Love love that candy dish... so glad you found it!

  13. Oh my gosh I used to LOVE Charlie perfume! How fun :) Now following through Linky!
